iMovR Lander rated Best Standing Desk by USA Today! Reviewed.com, a subsidiary of USA TODAY, named the iMovR Lander Standing Desk as its Editor's Choice and Best Overall Standing Desk on the market in the article The Best Standing Desks of 2019. The roundup highlighted the Lander's industry-leading design, intuitive technology features, craftsmanship and ease-of-use, concluding that "The Lander is still our top choice for its American-made quality, durability and intuitiveness."
Each iMovR solid wood top starts out by being shaped and pre-drilled on advanced, precision CNC equipment, and then lovingly hand-finished in a 7-step heirloom-quality hand-finishing process. No other real wood top you can buy for a standing desk is produced to such exacting quality standards.
Like all iMovR desktops, our solid wood tops are ergo-contoured, with a 3/4"-tangent round-over profile along the entire perimeter, for excellent comfort and wear resistance. Once shaped, the slabs receive multiple passes of hand sanding and staining.
The tops are then finished with a KCMA-rated waterborne sealant, both top and bottom, ensuring long life by reducing the effects of humidity changes on the wood. This low-VOC finish protects the natural wood from moisture, chemicals, abrasion and marring, while being safe for workers and the environment (reduces use of solvents for application and cleaning).
Select From 30+ Elegant Wood Varieties
For the discerning customer looking for the very finest in modern standing desk furniture design, iMovR is pleased to offer 36 different solid wood desktops. Made entirely in the USA from sustainable US-grown species and honest materials, these tops are a testament to American craftsmanship.
No other standing desk manufacturer offers as many shapes, sizes, species and stain combinations of real wood desktops. iMovR does not source any of its wood materials from outside the USA, and all our manufacturing processes comply with the most stringent EPA standards. We offer 4 tiers of species:
- Tier I: Maple is our most popular natural wood selection, with 10 different stain options and fastest delivery time. These ship within three weeks of order.
- Tier II: American cherry, walnut, red oak and hickory species are offered in a total of 17 stain options. These ship in three to five weeks of order.
- Tier III: Premium quarter-sawn white oak and select cherry, coveted for their uniqueness and exceptional beauty. These also ship in three to five weeks of order.
- Tier IV: Ultra-premium select walnut tops mark the finest in elegant wood finishes. These ship in three to five weeks of order.
Note that the bottom of the desktops are not stained, since they are not visually-exposed surfaces, but they are fully sealed to ensure long-term durability.
All our tops are a full 1.25" thick and 30” deep, available in 41, 47, 53, 59, 65, 77 and 83" widths, and can be ordered with or without our patented, built-in SteadyType ergonomic keyboard tray. Optional dual grommet holes are completely finished to show off the beauty of the natural wood—no unnattractive plastic grommet caps required.

The First Treadmill Built for the Office!
The ThermoTread GT is quieter and smaller than other office treadmills, with a footprint of just 67.5” x 28.35”, making it an easy fit for even compact office spaces. Its noise level is 42.7 dB, which is less than the ambient noise in most offices. Whether you're adding a single treadmill or outfitting the whole department, the ThermoTread is designed for minimal workplace disruption.
Uniquely Engineered for Walking Speeds
The ThermoTread GT's motor is engineered for the unique stresses of continuous walking. It doesn’t pretend to be a dual-use office/gym treadmill—our engineers know that a motor tuned specifically towards lower walking speeds will have a longer lifetime of reliable use. The ThermoTread tops out at only 2.5 mph, with an ideally geared high-torque drivetrain for office walking speeds, and a massive 3.0 horsepower, 4000 RPM DC motor at its core.
We back up our components with an exceptional three-year motor warranty.
Innovative Touch-screen LCD Display Tracks User Stats
The ThermoTread GT is the only office treadmill on the market to feature a desktop console with a full-color, touch screen display—not unlike the smartphone in your pocket. This display, coupled with the console’s powerful microprocessor, makes it faster and easier to operate than the antiquated membrane keys on every alterative walking treadmill.
The ThermoTread GT’s display shows performance statistics like walking speed, distance, time, and calorie burn, but it goes well beyond the basics. Uniquely among walking treadmills, it allows you to set up your own user profile (up to 5 profiles total) and track your stats across all three work modalities—walking, standing, and sitting—for a complete picture of your progress towards better office fitness.

The Lander Lite is a NEAT™ (Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) certified product; its usage will help combat the negative health effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Standing while working is the first line of defense against sitting disease, as the small movements you make throughout the day while standing increase your body’s energy expenditure and heart rate.
ANSI-BIFMA-certified for Quality
The Gold Standard for manufacturing quality in office products is ANSI/BIFMA Certification. The BIFMA X5.5-2014 standard is relied upon by institutional and government furniture buyers to guarantee that the performance, reliability and durability of the product meets the very highest standards. This iMovR desk has been independently certified by Intertek Laboratories and shown to surpass all applicable tests with flying colors. Learn more
Choose your Wood Species and Finish:
Select from 30+ unique solid wood tops that are hand-crafted in Michigan, including Maple, Cherry, Walnut, Oak, and Hickory species grown in the eastern United States.
Silver maple is a highly versatile species with color variations from nearly white to light grey. Its lighter color allows us to offer more staining options than with any other species. Silver maple is moderately heavy (36.4 lbs/cu ft), strong and stiff, and moderately shock resistant. Silver Maple is known for its fine, uniform grain.
American black walnut is strong, hard and durable, without being excessively heavy (38 lbs/cu ft). Its color variations are light to dark chocolate brown. Walnut shows a wide range of figures, including strips, burls, mottles, crotches, curls and butts, giving it great character.
Cherry has color variations from nearly white to light red to dark reddish brown. It is moderately hard, heavy (35 lbs/cu ft), strong and stiff, and highly shock resistant. Cherry is known for its fine to medium, uniform grain. The rustic cherry that was used in our desktops has visible knots and pitch streaks, giving it more character than costlier "select" cherry cuts, making it one of the most distinctive and interesting natural grain patterns for the dollar.
Red oak has color variations from light tan to pink, to red, to dark brown. This plain sawn oak is probably the most popular hardwood used in modern woodworking. Broad grains give red oak a pronounced appearance. It is heavy (42.5 lbs/cu ft), hard, stiff and highly shock resistant. Red oak has a medium fine, uniform grain.
Hickory has color variations from nearly white to dark brown. The combination of its hardness, strength, toughness, and stiffness are unmatched by any other hardwood. It is very heavy (50.5 lbs/cu ft), very hard, very strong, very stiff and extremely shock resistant. Hickory is known for its fine, uniform grain.
Quartersawn White Oak
This very special "quartersawn" cut of the white oak tree is coveted for its incomparable beauty. It is commonly used in Craftsman style homes and furnishings. As compared to riftsawn and flatsawn cuts that are less spectacular, quartersawn has growth rings at angles of 45 to 90 degrees to the wide surface. White Oak is grown mostly in the eastern United States and has color variations from creamy white to medium brown. It is a heavy (45.8 lbs/sq ft), strong and very hard wood with high shock resistance and a medium fine, uniform grain.
Cherry is grown mostly in the eastern United States and has color variations from nearly white to light red to dark reddish brown. It is moderately hard, heavy (35 lbs/cu ft), strong and stiff, and highly shock resistant. Cherry is known for its fine to medium, uniform grain. The select cuts of cherry used for making these tops are free of visible knots, pitch streaks and other imperfections found in "rustic" cuts, and showing off only their beautiful natural grain.
American black walnut is strong, hard and durable, without being excessively heavy (38 lbs/cu ft). Its color variations are light to dark chocolate brown. The select cuts of walnut used for making these tops are free of visible knots, pitch streaks and other imperfections found in "rustic" cuts, and showing off only their beautiful natural grain.

Add Grommet Holes:
Choose your Power Management Options:
Unique to iMovR desks is the optional Grommet-Mounted Power Socket that brings charging AC outlets and USB ports to the top of the table. This is ideal for shared workstations where users may want to power their laptops or charge their mobile devices, without having to bend down and search for a free plug along the floor. Silver or black powder-coated finish, with a 72" cord. All tabletops can accommodate one or two such charging nodes.
Choose your Monitor Arm:
For the best ergonomics, you’ll always want to keep your monitor(s) at the proper height, distance, and angles. Monitor arms make moving your monitors easy, so you can find the right monitor position whether you're sitting, standing, or ‘perching’ at your desk. They help keep neck and eye strain at bay, and ensure you work in optimal comfort at all times.

Choose your Keyboard Tray:
Our Trackless Keyboard Tray is an essential part of an ergonomically sound workstation, with up to 15 degrees of tilt for a strain-free typing experience. Your Lander Desk already comes with pre-drilled holes that accommodate this tray—making installation even easier.
Add a Storage Drawer:
With its intelligent design and easy-gliding, precision ball-bearing tracks, the iMovR Hide-Away Storage Drawer works perfectly with most rectangular top sit-stand desks, including the iMovR Lander series. Its molded plastic tray has convenient storage compartments for holding pens and office supplies, and a large compartment for holding a keyboard, notebook computer, iPad, or anything else you need to store out of view.
Choose your Standing Mat: Sit Less, Stand More, in Comfort
Take care of your feet and get the most out of your new standing desk converter! A good anti-fatigue mat means more hours standing in full comfort, by reducing strain on your back, legs, and feet. iMovR EcoLast Anti-Fatigue Mats are made from 100% polyurethane material and won’t lose their bounce or curl up at the edges like cheaper mats. 100% made-in-America, these mats come with a five-year full-performance warranty, and are completely recyclable.
Manage Your Cables
Keep your cables safe and organized and your new desk tidy with iMovR’s Cable Management Kit. These kits are easy to install, and include a variety of versatile and reusable components to allow you to easily reconfigure your cable bundles time and time again. Most users will want to opt for the Advanced Kit, which includes a 7-outlet surge protector with a 12'-long cord and a 24" cable trough to hold it and any excess cable bundles. Place your surge protector in the trough and make sure its chord has enough slack for your desk to reach its top height. With twelve feet to work with you’ll have plenty of flexibility to place your new desk as far or close to the wall outlet as possible.
Make It Mobile
Need more mobility in your desk? The Lander Caster Wheel set replaces your desk's leveling feet with four locking caster wheels. Now you can slide your desk wherever you want it easily and safely. These caster wheels screw into the recessed threading on the feet of your desk. Just remove the leveling pads, screw in the casters, flip your desk back over—and you’re good to go! Lock the casters when you find an ideal spot for your desk and unlock them when you want to glide to a different one.
