The 12′ cord is long enough to provide you with the necessary slack as you move your desk up and down, and still reach the outlet, even if it's not adjacent to where you situate your desk.
Can easily be mounted to the underside of the desk, or rest neatly in a cable tray, such as those found in the Tucker Advanced and Tucker Pro cable management kits.
