Once assembled in our factory in Michigan, WI, we will ship the Lander to you in two weeks or less. Infinitely-Adjustable Ergonomic Keyboard Tray Built-in

SteadyType® adjustable keyboard trays offer unmatched ergonomics and stability for standing and treadmill desk users. You can set your keyboard to any angle up to 85°, which allows for a truly neutral arm and wrist position while standing. The benefits are even more pronounced while treadmill desking. Additionally, SteadyType trays are far more stable than traditional trays, leading to significantly less monitor shaking. And they match the finish of your desk to boot. Learn more about SteadyType.
Intuitive Height Adjustment Using a Control Paddle with Built-in Health Coach
The Lander's hi-resolution LCD control paddle makes it the easiest desk in the world to use. Simply tap twice up or down to send the desk to your next height favorite. Want reminders to stand? Its built-in coach will gently remind you at intervals you can set.
Smartphone App Unlocks Advanced Controller Options
With the Lander’s Bluetooth-connected smartphone app, you can remotely raise your desk, set your favorite height positions, establish custom reminders to stand (with optional push notifications), and more. Over time, we’ll enhance the app with additional features to help you maximize the health benefits of your Lander Desk.
Exclusive 3D-Laminated Tabletops
Defining the state-of-the-art in adjustable-height furniture, all iMovR tabletops are ergo-contoured on precision CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment and then hermetically sealed with Surf(x) 3D lamination, providing superior performance to conventional high-pressure laminated, powder-coated, and even hardwood tops you'll find on other desks.
All the edges and corners of our tabletops are precision-contoured to create an elegant and ergonomic "comfort edge," while also rounding off those sharp corners. The chosen color or woodgrain image is then thermofused to the core using an advanced 3D lamination process that covers every exposed surface of the wood. This 3D lamination method is not only more elegant in appearance compared to standard lamination, it better protects the tabletop from moisture damage and warping, and guarantees a higher level of durability. So durable, in fact, that even strong disinfectants used in hospitals will not tarnish your tabletop's finish.

The Perfect Pairing

iMovR and InMovement have joined forces to create the highest performance, quietest, safest, most ergonomic and most stable treadmill desks available today.
While you can pair an Unsit Office Treadmill with any standing desk that has at least 40″ of free space between the lifting columns, any iMovR desk model with a 53″-wide desktop or greater will be a perfect match. And with our Lander line you can accommodate the Unsit Office Treadmill side-by-side with a regular office chair for a classic "sit-stand-walk workstation," by choosing a desktop that is 83″, 89″, or 95″ wide.
With a low step-up height of only 5″, the Unsit treadmill is ideally paired with a standing desk that has an extra-high top-end reach. Only iMovR offers 6″ height extenders on all our made-to-order standing desks (Lander, Lander Lite and Jaxson) to give you that extra ergonomic range and increased desk stability, particularly for taller users.
Another unique aspect of iMovR standing desks is our patented SteadyType Keyboard Tray, designed specifically for treadmill desk users. SteadyType improves the user's comfort when typing while walking, eliminates ergonomic injury potential, and restores the same typing accuracy and speed as when sitting or standing, all without inducing undue vibration into the desk from even the most aggressive keystrokes. SteadyType is available as a built-in option on the Lander, or as an add-on to any of our other desk models (and over 90% of other standup desks sold) with the SteadyType Exo. We offer 79 different surfaces on our SteadyType products to match our 79 desk finishes in 3D-laminate and solid wood.
55% More Usable Walking Space
The unique form factor of the Unsit treadmill is 50% wider than any other walking treadmill. And it also features a shorter deck that takes up less room in your office. With a top speed of 2.0mph, the Unsit is a true "office treadmill," in no way related to cardio running treadmills, and that means the extra deck length is really an unnecessary waste. Instead, the extra width allows the user to more comfortable move around in front of their workstation without stepping into the side rails.

Designed for the Office, Not the Gym
The Unsit Office Treadmill is built to last. Where most other treadmill desks are just re-skinned running treadmills designed for much easier motor loads, the powerful 2.0HP, 4000 RPM motor in the Unsit is properly geared for high torque at low speeds, since it has to be able to overcome the forces of a "dead weight" on the belt (versus when the runner's kicking actually assisting the motor to turn). There's a reason that running treadmills quickly burn out when used as treadmill desks, because their gearing and motor torque curves are poorly matched for walking at only 1–2 mph.
The heavy-gauge steel used in the Unsit is the same as you'll find on expensive commercial-grade gym treadmills as opposed to cheap home use machines. Everything about the Unsit's design from its library-quiet sound signature to its frame rigidity to its power train that is tuned for high torque at low speeds make it stand apart from all other treadmill desk bases on the market today.
The Safest Office Treadmill Ever Built
True productivity at a treadmill desk is about keeping your body moving while even more productive (and healthy) than merely standing, much less sitting. For optimal NEAT human performance, a typical speed range when treadmill desking is 1–2 mph. The Unsit launches at a super safe 0.3 mph and gradually spins up to your selected walking speed. With a top speed of 2.0 mph you'll be sure to maintain a NEAT cardio rate and not get to an exertion where your muscles will steal all that extra oxygen meant for the brain. Staying in NEAT range is what makes treadmill desk users never go back to just sitting and standing, once they experience how the productivity, mood and energy boost of walking in the NEAT range while working.
The Unsit also has two digital weight sensors embedded in the deck. These enable to important safety features. The treadmill will not start unless at least 50 lbs of weight is detected, so children and pets cannot accidentally start the machine on their own. If the user steps off the treadmill without first turning it off the unit will instantly shut itself off when it detects no weight on the deck, for another added measure of safety.
Even though it's impossible to drive the Unsit any faster than 2.0 mph, as required for safety certification the Unsit also has an emergency stop lanyard that you can place anywhere underneath the desktop and then clip to your clothing.
Sleek & Simple Controls Coupled with a Smartphone App

After the first few weeks of falling in love with their treadmill desk, most users really just want to start the unit up at their preferred speed and let it automatically turn off when they step away. The simple and small desktop console has only an on/off button surrounded by multi-color LEDs, that you turn to set the desired treadmill speed. This saves on desktop real estate and makes it incredibly simple to use the treadmill.
The console has a Bluetooth feature, however, which means you can connect to the treadmill to get all your basic readouts such as step count, miles walked, calorie burn, average speed, time walking and even time standing (since both are "unsitting time"). Data collected in the app can be shared with your Fitbit or Apple Health profiles, since we know that treadmill desk time is very difficult for most wearables to measure when your wrists are resting on a keyboard, not swinging back and forth.
Buy With Confidence
Adopting a treadmill desk is a big thing, especially when buying an under-desk treadmill without trying it first yourself. At iMovR we have a decade of experience helping thousands of users add a walking function to their workstation, and we've designed the world's very best ergonomic sit-stand desks for the task as well, with many thousands of customization options. In partnership with InMovement we've created the ultimate treadmill desk workstations on the market today, and we back it with our 100-day satisfaction guarantee and 15-year warranties on our desks. InMovement also offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and robust warranty on the Unsit treadmill base (see Warranty tab for details).
The Unsit treadmills ships to your curbside via FedEx Freight, with optional Inside Delivery and White Glove Delivery upgrades (see Shipping tab for details).
NEAT-certified
This is a NEAT™ (Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) certified product; its usage will help combat the negative health effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Standing while working is the first line of defense against sitting disease, as the small movements you make throughout the day while standing increase your body’s energy expenditure and heart rate.

ANSI-BIFMA-certified for Quality
The Gold Standard for manufacturing quality in office products is ANSI/BIFMA Certification. The BIFMA X5.5-2014 standard is relied upon by institutional and government furniture buyers to guarantee that the performance, reliability and durability of the product meets the very highest standards. This iMovR desk has been independently certified by Intertek Laboratories and shown to surpass all applicable tests with flying colors. Learn more.

Solid Colors
Wood Grains
Because of the way these woodgrain images wrap perfectly around the ergo-contoured edges of a desktop, visitors to our showroom often have a hard time distinguishing the hand-carved look of these 3D woodgrain laminates from real, solid-wood desks sitting right next to them. These woodgrain colors also hide fingerprints, water rings and dust very well.
Textured Wood Grains
Through advanced, state-of-the-art 3D-lamination technology these reclaimed wood simulations actually have the ridged tactile feel of real wood planks. This technology was developed for customers who love the romantic, weathered look of reclaimed wood but don't want to deal with its high propensity for cracking, warping and decomposition.
Specialty
Soft-Touch Matte Luxe
These newly invented, state-of-the-art "soft-touch" laminates have an amazing tactile feel. Both to the hand and to the eye they exude a sense of luxury, beauty and style like no other desktop surface. These warm, neutral tones are as calming as they are elegant, and the matte finish makes fingerprints, water rings and dust disappear from view.

iMovR's entire line of power management products are proudly made in Michigan using superior quality components and have been designed to be compliant with all electrical codes across the United States.
Choose your Monitor Arm:
For the best ergonomics, you’ll always want to keep your monitor(s) at the proper height, distance, and angles. Monitor arms make moving your monitors easy, so you can find the right monitor position whether you're sitting, standing, or ‘perching’ at your desk. They help keep neck and eye strain at bay, and ensure you work in optimal comfort at all times.
Curious which iMovR monitor arm is right for you? Visit our guide Selecting the Right Monitor Arm.
Add your Fly Deck Monitor Riser:
Relieve neck strain by propping your monitor(s) higher with the stylish and versatile Fly Deck by iMovR. This ultra-sturdy monitor shelf creates extra desktop storage space and keeps your working area better organized. Made-in-America, the Fly Deck is available in all the 3D laminate colors that iMovR offers on our desk lines, for a perfect décor match.
Choose your Standing Mat: Sit Less, Stand More, in Comfort
Take care of your feet and get the most out of your new standing desk! A good anti-fatigue mat means more hours standing in full comfort, by reducing strain on your back, legs, and feet. iMovR EcoLast Anti-Fatigue Mats are made from 100% polyurethane material and won’t lose their bounce or curl up at the edges like cheaper mats. 100% made-in-America, these mats come with a five-year full-performance warranty, and are completely recyclable.
Take a Seat
The best regimen for maintaining health and productivity is to change positions throughout the day. When you need to take a break from walking at your treadmill desk, iMovR offers TreadTop seating specifically designed to work well on top of the treadmill belt. The McHale TreadTop StableChair (shown) has been specifically designed for use with the Unsit Office Treadmill, with a foot ring and an adjustable lumbar suspension system. The Energy Stool's rounded base allows you to stay mobile and active while you continue to work ergonomically after a period of standing and/or walking at your desk.
Manage Your Cables
Keep your cables safe and organized and your new desk tidy with a Tucker™ Cable Management Kit. These kits are easy to install, and include a variety of versatile and reusable components to allow you to easily reconfigure your cable bundles time and time again. Most users will want to opt for the Pro Kit with Cable Chain for Adjustable Desks, which includes a height-tracking link chain with a full array of mounting and routing essentials for device and cable protection, including a 12-foot, 6-outlet, under-desk surge protector and capacious cable tray. With the surge protector in the tray and the cord cleanly routed through the cable chain, you'll have a tidy, professional-grade cable management system in no time, and the flexibility to position your new desk as close to or far from the wall outlet as you want.
Add Storage Space with Matching Finishes:
iMovR’s Mobile File Cabinet, 2-Door Credenza, and other storage accessories give you convenient ways to complement your desk with extra storage space, in matching 3D-laminate surfaces. The compact file cabinet on casters glides easily to where you need it, with 3D laminated surfaces that are extremely resistant to dings, scratches and chemicals. The 2-door credenza comes in several sizes and offer up to 12 cubic feet of hidden shelf space. All 3D-laminate accessories are backed by our industry-leading 15-year warranty, just like the desk.
Make it Mobile
Need more mobility in your desk? Our Locking Caster Wheel Set replaces your desk's leveling feet with four locking caster wheels. Now you can slide your desk wherever you want it easily and safely. These caster wheels screw into the recessed threading on the feet of your desk. Just remove the leveling pads, screw in the casters, flip your desk back over—and you’re good to go! Lock the casters when you find an ideal spot for your desk and unlock them when you want to glide to a different one.

Important Notes on Freight Delivery
- All of our prices include Free Shipping in the Lower 48 states. Exceptions include:
- Non-standard delivery times.
- Other special delivery options requested by the recipient, and
- Delivery to addresses that are more than 50 miles away from our freight carriers' designated hubs.
- See additional delivery surcharges for these and other special requests.
Our designated freight carrier, SEKO Logistics, requires a scheduled delivery appointment, where an adult must be present to sign for the shipment, and if an inside-delivery upgrade was requested, provide access into the room where the items are to be brought.
As your shipment reaches the final delivery center nearest your location, a dispatcher from SEKO Logistics will call you from (866) 268-5263 to schedule a 4-hour window for this appointment. SEKO will also send you an email at the same time.
Standard Delivery is to the first covered threshold.
- For deliveries to apartments/condos and office buildings, this would be to the lobby if there is a doorman or receptionist.
- If there is no covered area to place the delivery in, it will be taken as close as possible to the building structure, which may be curbside.
- It will be the customer's responsibility to unload the pallet, dispose of the pallet, and bring merchandise into the building. If you need help with this, you can upgrade to Room of Choice or Premium Delivery (see below).
Room of Choice Delivery Upgrade is our most popular shipping upgrade. The two-man delivery crew will bring all the components all the way to the room where your workstation equipment will go.
- The upgrade includes elevator trips and up to one flight of stairs.
- You will be responsible for unboxing, assembly, and debris removal.
- Note: this service level may not be available in certain rural areas.
Premium Delivery w/ Assembly Upgrade
- Note that the Premium upgrade is currently only available on certain Lander Desks (with or without a treadmill) and on treadmill-only orders. Premium delivery upgrades for most other desk models will be made available in the future.
- The two-man crew will deliver your partially factory-assembled desk to your room of choice, unbox it, and complete the assembly of your new desk. This upgrade includes:
- Elevator trips.
- Up to one flight of stairs.
- Unloading of the shipment.
- Unboxing of the desk and/or treadmill.
- Removal & disposal of the shipping pallet and all packaging materials.
- If a treadmill is included in the purchase, it will also be unboxed and plugged in.
- Leveling of the desk and/or treadmill to make sure it is parallel to the floor is highly recommended. This is the responsibility of the purchaser.
- Installation of accessories such as monitor arms, keyboard trays, power nodes, and cable management kits are not included in this delivery service. These are the responsibility of the purchaser.
- Note: this service level may not be available in certain rural areas.
How To Track Your Order
You will receive a MySEKO tracking link by email when your desk departs our factory. Please use this link for updates on the progress of your delivery. The freight carrier (SEKO Logistics) will always have more information on your delivery than we will, so we recommend that you contact them directly at (866) 268-5263 with any delivery questions you may have.
Please note that at this point your order will continue to progress in a different computer system that is not connected to your account on iMovR.com; if you look up your order on iMovR.com it will only say "processing."
For inquiries on production status of your furniture prior to shipping from the factory, please contact customercare@imovr.com with your name and order number.
Tips for Success
It is our desire to get your product to you as safely and quickly as possible! To help us make this possible, here are a few things you can do to help if you've ordered a product that will be delivered by freight:
- Provide us with the best phone number for the delivery company to reach you or someone in your receiving department to coordinate delivery.
- Deliveries cannot be reliably scheduled by voicemail so please provide a backup phone number if possible.
- If you can white list SEKO's phone number before they call this will help avoid potentially missing their call.

Unsit Office Treadmill
In the Lower 48 United States the UnSit Treadmill is shipped via Fedex Freight from InMovement's warehouse in Indianapolis. The treadmill is shipped in ruggedized packaging on a freight pallet for maximum protection. You will receive a FedEx Freight tracking number from iMovR Customer Care once your treadmill is underway.
Please note that if you purchased an iMovR standing desk bundled with the Unsit Treadmill these items ship separately from different locations by different carriers, and you will receive separate tracking codes.
There are three different shipping options for the Unsit Treadmill:
- CURBSIDE DELIVERY (FREE)
The Freight Carrier will deliver the treadmill onto your property, but they are not obligated to bring it inside your home or office.
Once on your property, cut the black bands that hold the treadmill to the pallet. You can either unpack the treadmill and wheel it in on a dolly or on the treadmill’s front wheels (like a wheelbarrow), OR, two people can carry the whole box inside by lifting the carton by the yellow bands, then unpack it once inside. In some cases, it is better to move the treadmill in while it is still in the carton as you can drag the carton on its side and the treadmill will be protected. In other cases it is better to remove the treadmill from the carton outside and have two strong people carry and wheel it in. - INSIDE DELIVERY ($199)
The Freight Carrier will call you to schedule a time window for delivery. The driver will move the treadmill inside your home or office to a room of your choice. NOTE: In commercial office buildings the driver is only obligated to bring the treadmill past the “first threshold” of the building (usually the first "covered area"). They may not bring it up elevators, up flights of stairs or down long corridors. - WHITE GLOVE SERVICE ($499)
InMovement will contract with a qualified treadmill technician in your area, ship your treadmill to them and they will schedule an appointment to install it exactly where you want it. The White Glove Service provider will remove all packaging materials unless you want to keep them.
For Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and other international destinations please contact customercare@iMovR.com for a custom freight quote.
General Treadmill Questions:
iMovR offers a variety of Treadtop Seats that are safe to use on top of a treadmill, and won’t damage the walking belt. The stools are great for shorter stints of sitting and they encourage you to keep your core muscles engaged, while the chairs are more comfortable for longer periods of sitting or for those who need ergonomic adjustability.
We recommend against using chairs with wheels or feet that have sharp edges; they can compromise the integrity of the walking belt.
If your standing desk is wide enough, you can fit a regular caster-base office chair side-by-side with the Unsit. For example, the iMovR Lander desk in a 83″, 89″, or 95″ width works perfectly for a "sit-stand-walk" workstation configuration (these have at least 70″ of free space between the columns).
The Unsit Treadmill was designed for a 24/7 duty cycle, so it has no limitations on periods of use like some other office treadmills do. As for your body, we recommend a "break-in period" of a couple of weeks, because walking with your hands tethered to a keyboard does employ a slightly different set of muscles versus typical walking. You’ll want to give those muscles a chance to build up strength gradually, and be careful not to overdo it out of the gate.
A good regimen is to start out with walking for two 30-minute sessions a day, and work your way up from there. Add 5 to 10 minutes a day for each session until you work up to 90 minutes per session. Be sure to take sitting and standing breaks in between. The best break of all is actually a 5–10 minute brisk walk outdoors or around the building, combined with some stretching and rehydration. Even though you'll never sweat when walking at 2.0 mph or less, it's important to respect treadmill desking as you would any other active movement and avoid dehydration.
Most "power users" reach about 5 hours a day of treadmill desk time. This varies by an individual's overall physical fitness level, of course. Many find that 1–2 hours a day is already a game changer in their stamina, concentration, and even elevated mood.
Here's a pro hack from our most experienced treadmill deskers who've been doing it for 15 years:
- Leave your workstation at standing height when you're done for the day, so you start your morning standing.
- Switch to walking when your legs have had enough; the calves will pump blood that has pooled in the legs and feet back up to the brain, encouraging higher focus and productivity.
- When tired of walking, sit for a spell, then repeat the sequence throughout the day.
- Sitting, standing, or walking for too long at a time is unhealthy. Remember that "your best position is your next position" and try to spend no more than 30–90 minutes in each posture.
While distance and step count are fun to track for those of us who are into "personal quantification," in the opinions of most health coaches that are familiar with treadmill desking, the most important metric of all is how many fewer hours of sitting your body has endured because you now have the option of walking while remaining productive!
Because the Unsit Treadmill only goes up to the recommended 2.0 mph top speed for NEAT activity, your stride length will be relatively short. Longer decks are only needed for running at much higher speeds, so any "runway behind you" is unnecessarily taking up more floor space in your office at best, and creating a trip hazard at worst.
With a 40″-long deck, we've yet to have a customer who found the Unsit to be too short. However, we do want to note that the placement of the treadmill relative to the desk needs to match the primary user's stride length. The taller the individual, the more likely they’ll want to have the treadmill a little further back from the wall in order to remain centered on the deck. And to put it bluntly, that "beer belly" you’re aiming to shrink might also dictate moving the treadmill a couple of inches further back. See our setup video for more information on ideal placement.
The caveat in all this is if a unit is to be shared by multiple users with significantly different anthropometries (body proportions), you may find it necessary to shift the treadmill in or out when switching users. This is easy to do by lifting it from the back and rolling the Unsit like a wheelbarrow on the two caster wheels at the front end. Most of the treadmill's weight is in the front of the treadmill and supported by the caster wheels, but be sure to use a proper lifting technique to avoid low back injury.
Yes. Remember, the point here is not to get into a cardio exercise heartbeat range, which would be completely counterproductive. The treadmill desk was invented at The Mayo Clinic. Based on their many years of research the "NEAT" sweet spot (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) is to walk within the range of 1.0–2.0 mph. To give you an idea of what that’s like, full walking speed is 3.3 mph. So it’s more like pacing on the phone than actual cardio walking.
We recommend taking a moment to read about iMovR's research collaboration with the Mayo Clinic, and to discover some simple facts about NEAT movement, such as how many calories you can burn while using a standing desk or treadmill desk.
While walking faster or at an incline may be tempting, moving into higher heart rates (i.e. beginning to sweat) will diminish the benefits that treadmill desk users get quickly addicted to, namely higher focus and productivity than when sitting, or even standing. Once you transition into true exercise, instead of all that extra oxygen flow to the brain it starts going to your muscles instead. And that's what the gym's cardio running treadmills are intended for, not office treadmills.
No, because the Unsit Treadmill has two digital weight sensors built into the deck. It will automatically slow to a stop the moment the user steps off. As an added safety benefit around children and pets, the Unsit Treadmill will not start unless someone weighing over 50 lbs is standing on the deck.
To restart the treadmill, simply press the controller wheel when you get back on to resume at the same speed.
Unlike conventional treadmills, the Unsit was specifically designed to be quiet enough to be used in a library. We measured the decibel level at 42.9dB at ear level with the treadmill going 2.0 mph in a quiet room with hard floors. (Most people use the treadmill at speeds closer to 1.0–1.5 mph).
Decibel readings will vary depending on the acoustics of the room. If you're on a hard surface floor (tile or hardwood) it will sound a bit louder. On a soft floor, such as a padded carpet, you'll hardly hear it. If you're in a pitch quiet recording studio you'll hear it. In a normal office environment you probably won't notice the motor at all, but you will hear the user’s footsteps, of course.
If using the Unsit on a solid floor the noise signature can be substantially reduced by using an anti-static equipment mat. These mats also reduce the propensity for dust and dirt to enter through the bottom of the treadmill. They’re also great for use in apartment buildings or on the second story of a home, for example, to reduce the transmission of footstep sounds to people below.
iMovR is working on producing an under-treadmill mat specifically sized for the Unsit (our RightSize mat was designed for our older Thermotread GT model), but if you can’t wait, you can use any equipment mat that’s at least 40″ wide and 60″ long, and cut it down to the size of the Unsit.
The Unsit Treadmill has specially designed wheels that carry most of the weight of the treadmill and engage immediately when you lift from the rear, making it very easy to maneuver. It is not practical to move the treadmill frequently. If you want to move it out of the way every time you want to switch to using a chair, take a look at the question above, "Where will I sit?"
Yes, but because standing on a hard deck can become quickly uncomfortable, we highly recommend using an Ecolast Anti-fatigue Mat, such as our 20″×32″ Economy Mat that is perfectly sized for the Unsit's 30″-wide deck, or our 18″×22″ Ecolast Portable Mat. (See every color and size of standing mat that iMovR offers.)
Unsit Tracking App:
The app tracks steps, distance, time, calories, standing time, and "Total UnSit Time," which is the total time you walked and/or stood on the Unsit Treadmill. The app runs on Android tablets and phones as well as iOS iPhones, but not iPads. The app automatically sends its data to Apple Health and/or to your Fitbit account and to our web app, where an accumulation of all steps taken by UnSit users is displayed on top of our website. Simply download the UnSit App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, place your smartphone on your desk, launch the App and tap the "connect" button. (Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled.)
The UnSit App is most accurate because FitBit and Apple Health just estimate steps using the accelerometer in their device to sense the swing of your arm. From that step count they estimate the distance covered assuming you covered about 2.3 feet per step. However, the UnSit App receives exact data from the treadmill. The treadmill senses each foot strike and transmits each step to the App. The treadmill accurately measures the distance the belt has moved and transmits the distance separately to the App.
Troubleshooting:
- Are the LED lights on the controller blinking? If YES, continue, if NO, skip to the next section . . .
- Are you standing on the belt?
- If not, try standing on the belt. (the treadmill won't operate without someone on the treadmill)
- If you ARE standing on the belt and it still won’t start then re-calibrate the weight sensor (see instructions below)
Video: Power Troubleshooting
- Check that the red "on/off" switch on the front of the treadmill is switched on. It will light up RED when it is on. If the red switch does NOT light up then there is no power reaching the treadmill.
- Check that the treadmill’s power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet. You can verify your outlet is working by plugging in another appliance. Note that some outlets can be "switched" by a light switch, intended for a floor lamp. Usually moving the plug to the other outlet that is not "switched" will do the trick.
- Check that the circuit breaker located next to the power switch has not popped out. If it has popped out, press it firmly back in.
- Check that the red lanyard is securely connected into the Emergency Stop mechanism under your desk. You will feel it click and lock itself into place when secure. If you lost your lanyard, call or email us for a replacement.
- Check that the black telephone cable that connects the Emergency Stop mechanism to the black controller box is securely plugged on BOTH ends. The telephone cable plugs into the back of the white emergency Stop mechanism under your desk and the other end plugs into the back of the black controller box on your desktop.
- Check that the black coiled cable from the treadmill is securely plugged into the back of the controller box by pressing on the white 12-pin connector. You may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to remove the cable clamp on the back of the controller.
If you have determined that the weight sensors are not functioning (see above), you can recalibrate them following these directions. There is also a video here showing this procedure. The procedure is:
- Make sure no one is standing on the belt during this procedure.
- Turn off the power at the switch on the base of the treadmill.
- While holding down the Pause/Resume button (⏯) turn the power on.
- Continue holding down ⏯ until all lights flash ORANGE, then lights 1-5 light up RED.
- When lights 1–5 are lit up RED, you are in engineering mode and one of the 5 lights will be blinking.
- Turn the ⏯ knob until the FIRST (bottom) LED is blinking red, then press the ⏯ button again. The first LED will now flash GREEN followed by lights 5–8 and then lights 1–4. This will repeat 3 times, then all lights will light ORANGE, indicating a successful calibration. (YOU DID IT!)
If the series of lights did not flash green, then repeat this procedure. Once successfully completed the treadmill should operate normally.

Adjust the belt using per the directions on pages 23–24 of the Owner's Manual. You will need the blue-handled Allen key wrench that came with your treadmill. If you cannot find the blue handled Allen key wrench you can use any common 6mm Allen key wrench from a hardware store.
If necessary, an experienced treadmill technician can make this adjustment. Contact UnSit for a referral to a technician near you.
- Look to see if the belt has wandered all the way to one side of the treadmill. You will see a black strip on one side and the belt running under the metal side rail on the other side. If this is the case, adjust the belt per the directions above.
- If the belt appears to be centered, then check to make sure no foreign objects have fallen behind or underneath the treadmill and are rubbing on the belt. On newly installed treadmills this tends to be a stray piece of styrofoam from the Unsit’s packaging.
This may be a bad ball bearing inside the rollers. You’ll need to have an experienced treadmill technician check it and perhaps replace the roller. Call InMovement for a referral to a technician near you: 833-987-6683
